Yeah, so, my Grandpa Otis passed away last year, and he was in the military and stuff. So, I found a nice picture of my Grandpa in United State Air Force uniform in the 40’s and anyway, I decided to put it as my picture on Facebook. Thing is, my Mother and my Father don’t get along.. None of my Father’s side (Besides my Grandpa and Grandma and one Aunt) get along with my Mother’s side and when my Mother and Father were together my Mother’s brothers always got into fights with my Father, blah blah blah. Basically there’s always heat between my Mother’s and Father’s side.. So, when my Grandpa passed away I happen to be looking up history on my last name on my Father’s side, right? Well, the first link I get is my Grandpa’s Obituary Guest Book, or something like that. So, I’m like “What? What’s going on?” So I show my Mother and we find out that my Grandpa passed away and my Father never planned on telling us. So, that same day, just a few hours before the funeral we actually find out when it is and all that stuff. So we go up there unwelcomed and no one says a word to us.. And eventually my Mother and I added my Father’s nephew on Facebook. We got along good, until some things were said, right? He basically said I was impersonating my Grandpa because of the picture. BUT, I had my REAL name on there. So, I read reasons that someone would get their account disabled and one of them was impersonating someone/not having your actually name and/or photo on your profile. Even though, I had my real name I still got my account disabled and I’m assuming it was my Father’s nephew that did it. So how do I get it back? Or can I even get it back?
Also, I did send an email to Facebook like it told me to. Will they/could they get my profile back or is it completely gone?

If you explained yourself well enough, which you have, then you WILL get your account back. But for now use another social network like MSN or Twitter..
if you took his picture and used it as a profile picture than facebook would think that you are impersonating a person if this is the case than you cant get it back if you believe you did nothing wrong you can try to send your case to disabled@facebook.com explain what happend
