It was somehow justifiable that a woman was tackled and stomped on at a Rand Paul Rally but it’s ok for the Westboro Baptist Church to bring homophobic signs to dead soldier’s funerals. Now they plan on protesting at Elizabeth Edwards funeral and the tea baggers could care less. Why is there such a double standard?

The tea party has staged counter demonstrations by positioning themselves between the families of the soldiers and the Westboro protesters. They find out where they are going to be and get there first.
That’s terrible. Why would they support that lunatic’s church’s right to protest (which, by the way, is not a ‘right’ in this instance), but not someone at one of theirs’ rallies?

So you have personally asked a whole bunch of Tea Baggers what they think of that woman at the rally or those nut cases from the Westboro Church. I’ll just bet they all said go for it, we are with you. By the way, how many Democrats will go to the funeral all ready to jump on those demonstrators if they show up.
Even though that woman at the Paul rally was up to no good, the people who subdued her may have over reacted. Most conservative also agree that the Westboro Baptist Church people are a bunch of despicable thugs worse than SEIU thugs. Their behavior is reprehensible whether it is at a fallen soldier’s funeral or Mrs. Edwards’.
I don’t agree with either.
They are against all that is good and for all that is bad.
