I am filming a movie about 4 college students. Their names are Stephen, Brandon, Jacob, and Justin. Jacob gets a call informing him that his best friend Mario has been murdered. Jacob and Justin fly back home to attend Mario’s funeral. Jacob says a few words at the funeral, and publicly declares that he will find Mario’s killer. I am planning on adding two more members to the cast. Their names are Chris and either Walter, Mike, or Andy (i haven’t decided who it will be). What I need from you guys is ideas for the rest of the movie. How does the story continue? Please go into detail, and explain to me what both of the new characters’ parts are. Are the new characters friends, or do they need to be enemies? How do I fit them in. Remember at this point in the story Brandon and Stepehn are back home, so I will need some advice on how to get them involved again. Please help me guys. I’m open to anything as long as it’s realistic.

It could turn out that one of those characters that you have mentioned is the killer of Mario. They all have motives to kill him and you can go from there.
Make it so that Chris secretly had a crush on Mario. Mario dreamt of being a plumber who rescued princesses, and Chris, knowing this (having read Mario’s diary), tried to use that information to win Mario’s heart. So Mario one day is getting changed and Andy stumbles in to tell him that the ice-cream truck is coming (you need ice-cream truck music for any movie to become a classic). Chris becomes jealous and is filled with rage. He murders both Mario and Andy, convinced they were being intimate. Andy’s body has not yet been found, but will soon be found by Jacob. Finding the other body triggers some suspicions in Jacob… but it also gets Chris’ attention, and he then starts stalking Jacob.
I might make the rest into a thriller…As Jacob tries to find the clues ofr his friend’s murder, he found links with his another friend (justin)..But he chose not to reveal it because he wanted to know the motive…But the killer-friend(Justin, to say) found about Jacob’s intentions and kills him to cover his secret. But as the police were pouring into the story, Justin plans to throw Mario’s murder on jacob and saying that Jacob had escaped somewhere…Stephen, Mike etc charcters might add a thrilling discoveries to the story..Ultimately the truth comes out…
And the motive for the original killing was nothing but an accident between Justin and mario while fighting over a girl..and Justin killed jacob becasue he thought that he might tell the athorities about his presence during the accident and he didn’t want any enquiry..Justin was just afraid at the time…So justin wasn’t sentenced for killing Mario, But Justin was captured for killing jacob and was sentenced.
