My Grandma just passed away on July 30th and we have the wake tonight and the funeral tomorrow. I was just wondering what to wear for both occasions. I’m 15 year old and a paw bearer and I don’t want to be the only person under dressed, but I also have to take into consideration that their might be hot weather. Both the wake and the funeral are being held inside.
So far, for the wake, my plan is to wear black dress pants, dress socks, and a maroon button up shirt with a matching tie. For the funeral, I’m wearing black dress pants, dress socks, a short sleeve grey button up shirt with a matching tie.
I was wondering if the maroon and the short sleeve grey shirts are acceptable. The grey shirt isn’t a dark grey, it’s just plain grey, maybe a little lighter. Can a guy wear a short sleve shirt to a funeral?
