Is This A Good Way To Alienate Your Spouse?

IN 2007 my wife through a HUGE fit over my plans to enroll in a Funeral Director course. So I didn’t.
Then in 2008, she through another HUGE fit over me wanting to continue on with EMT training to become a Paramedic. I gave in and didn’t continue.
IN 2009, She through another HUGE fit over me trying to go into construction. I gave in yet again.
Now I am a JANITOR in a Hospital. And she doesn’t understand why I hate her and could careless if she leaves (She just got laid off) and is pissed at me for not being able to get a better job (Georgia has 10% unemployment)

   It is a good way to poison a relationship and give it a long, lingering death! A partner that is unsupportive in your decisions about how you spend your working life isn’t really a partner at all. I’m a senior prison officer and my fiancee knows it’s a dangerous job, but she accepts it. She’s a social worker and often has to visit dangerous people in unsafe areas. We both know that one day something bad may happen but at least we understand why we want to do these jobs.

   You shouldn’t let her stop you from doing things…let her leave find someone who will support you decisions
