My mother is a crack, angel dust, and marijuana abuser. She is on public assistance (welfare). I know its sad but I have been seeking help for her numerous times and nothing has worked, so I’m anticipating on the day she will over dose and die. Lately she has been looking really bad. I sent her to live with my aunt out of state to get her away from the drugs and she found a way to come back home and started doing the same thing over again. Its looking like the end for her. Do welfare pay for funerals or should I take out a insurance plan?

Does your mom or you belong to any Church or Religious Organization? You may want to speak with a minister or other leader of your belief to help you out with the funeral expenses or burial expenses.
I am pretty sure welfare would not pay for funeral expenses. Your local city or town may have a charitable fund for those who can not afford a plot.
