My parents are making me skip a trip to 6 flags for a funeral.
I made these plans 6 months ago to take my florida friends, who have never been there b4, my parents were ok with it and i have a ride to and from.
Now, the funeral of my sister’s friend’s grandpa is on the same day and my parents are making me skip six flags to go to the funeral of a man in a family i don’t know very well.. is it fair?

Since it’s Six Flags, I agree with your parents. Why go there when you could go to Cedar Point instead?
Go to the funeral and don’t whine about it. By complaining you are implying that you don’t give a crap that someone who your parents were close to died. Six Flags will be there anytime, people only die once.
Yes its unfair & honestly I wouldn’t go. Can they make you? If not then hit up 6 flags!
Think of it this way… the funeral can only happen once, but six flag will always be there…. and you can get your parent to pay for the next trip as they wanted you to stay….
