A Matter Of Life And Death For All Inheritance Fanfic Members, Please Answer?

So I’m making my first and need some help. Well actually I’m up to the sixth chapter but waiting before I start posting.
Plot: As a newborn the main character was adopted by royalty who had recently lost their first. Overprotective that it’s like she only has the freedom to move around and breathe. So one day she found out the folks are going to find a suitor starting with the child of another royal family to ensure her safety. She starts to make travel plans, preparations, and then fakes her death. She stayed a little while longer for the funeral to make sure the world bought it and ranaway.

The rider is Murtagh and he’s trying to reject the girl cause he’s afraid of ending up like or worse than his father and is sort of a…well Jackass of a jerk.
